Look, traders are human. Sometimes we have off days, sometimes emotions take over, and sometimes we need guardrails against our own worst impulses. That’s why so many of you asked for a more precise Manual Lockout, and it’s why we just made it sharper.
Until now, locking one account meant locking all of them. If you traded multiple accounts and only one needed a break, the rest paid the price too. Not anymore. Account-Level Manual Lockout, or Account Lockout for short, lets you lock exactly the account that needs a break, on its own timer, without touching the rest. Alongside it, we’re introducing Risk Settings Lock, a new way to keep your risk rules from bending the moment they’re tested.
Account Lockout is a trader-controlled feature that pauses trading on a single account, independent of your other accounts. Think of it as a cooldown switch for the individual account that needs it, not your entire lineup.
Here’s what happens when you lock an account:
You choose the duration: 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, end of session, or a custom lockout up to 24 hours. Each account you lock runs its own timer, so a 30-minute lockout on one account has no bearing on another you lock for the rest of the session.
Account-Level Manual Lockout isn’t the only upgrade. We’re also launching Risk Settings Lock, a per-account toggle built for a different moment: the second after your Daily Loss Limit or Daily Profit Target fires, when the temptation to move the threshold is highest.
Here’s the important distinction: Risk Settings Lock doesn’t pause your trading. It doesn’t flatten positions, and it doesn’t block new orders. What it does is lock your risk parameters in place the moment a limit fires, so they can’t be weakened or disabled until the daily reset at 4:00 pm CT.
Enable the toggle once per account, and it works automatically from there. No manual action needed when a limit fires, just the rules you set with a clear head, holding when you’re not.
Managing multiple accounts means managing multiple strategies, and a rough session on one shouldn’t force a pause on all of them. That’s the gap Account-Level Manual Lockout closes.

It takes a few clicks to lock an account. Here’s how:
Once locked, that account is paused. No new trades, no exceptions, and no early cancellation. Your lockout runs until the duration you chose expires.
To set up Risk Settings Lock, enable the toggle in that account’s Risk Settings. It stays on until you turn it off, protecting your parameters every time a limit fires.
Some of the hardest decisions in trading aren’t technical, they’re emotional. Account Lockout makes it easier to commit to stepping back from the one account that needs it, without disrupting the rest of your setup. Risk Settings Lock does the same for the rules you already set, holding them in place when you’re most likely to second-guess them.
